Holidays can be so varied.
The location of st martin chalets in the heart of Lungau and the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve allows you, your family and friends to experience the unspoilt nature of the region and fantastic outdoor activities.
You are in the best hands with Jodi - she's a qualified UNESCO Biosphere Reserve ranger and is at her happiest when in the mountains. We only work with the best activity providers in the region, whether you want to ride through flower meadows or experience an adrenalin kick.
For families on the search for a varied holiday, we have many options which will keep both younger and older children entertained (and we guarantee that all activities will help them sleep well at night!).

Rafting in Lungau
A real adventure. Take on rougher water as well as gentler rapids. The local provider 'Firn Sepp' are real experts. Everyone over the age of 6 is welcome. The ride along the 'Mur' river is over 18km long. A stop is made at a lovely destination where you can swim and those brave enough can jump in from an overhead rock! The staff of Firn Sepp know the river and the nicest spots.....
Canyoning im Lungau
Adrenalin pure. Go on foot through the Alpine rivers and streams of the Lungau. With an expert guide, make your way along the course of the river. Where necessary, you'll abseil down or jump a few metres into pools. For safety you have life jackets and ropes. A brilliant adventure! Not for the faint hearted but an unforgettable experience for young and old with the right guide.
Outdoorparc Lungau
The Outdoor Park is in the middle of the Lungau and offers a variety of outdoor activities and is a great addition to a holiday in the Lungau. A real attraction: swimming and canoeing in the lake, a giant floating ball 'zorben', climbing equipment, giant swing and balance beams. Something for everyone!
Adventure Park Katschberg
The Adventure Park Katschberg is one of the biggest outdoor parks in Austria. You can move around the treetops by ropes, paths, bridges and zip-wire. There are varying degrees of difficulty but the guides ensure your safety. The Park is open from May to November from 9am to 6pm and the tour lasts 3 hours.
Horseriding
Beginner hours, courses for children and riding in the mountain. There are a number of stables in Lungau that st martin chalets has a relationship with. We will happily arrange everything for you before you arrive.
Paragliding
With the cable car you can reach the top of Speiereck. The paragliding base is in St Martin at the foot of Speiereck and near the golf course. st martin chalets has its own landing place - you can paraglide from the the top of Speiereck right to your chalet!
