The water glistens like liquid crystal and the picturesque st martin chalets mirror on its surface. This is our favourite place, our sanctuary where you can surrender to the moment, letting your feet dangle in the cool embrace of the water, feeling the connection with the intact world around you. Each st martin chalet is named after an indigenous tree and each one is very slightly different. The timber built, chocolate-box style st martin chalets nestle together around the communal central buildings just like a real mountain alm village. No piece of the interior reclaimed timber is identical which was lovingly salvaged and restored before finding it’s new place in the furniture, walls and beams. The chalets are 99% free of lacquers, varnishes and artificial materials even the insulation is from Austrian mountain sheep. The moment you step inside you’ll feel at home…there’s just one problem, you won’t want to leave!
