• Holiday with your dog in the holiday village st martin chalets! Treat your dog to paradise in the beautiful Salzburger Lungau region, Austria. We, at st martin chalets, understand that a dog is just as much a part of the family. That’s why we take it for granted that you don’t have to leave him behind. The alpine mountains, valleys, lakes and forests that surround us here in Sankt Michael im Lungau offer you and your dog a first-class, pet-friendly holiday experience in your own, authentic luxury chalet.

• Please keep your dog on a leash while walking around our property. Please dispose of your dog’s waste. Please also let us know if your dog is left unattended in your chalet.
• As with all accommodation offers, we have to charge a small surcharge for extra cleaning for the duration of your stay.
• Within the EU you need a pet passport for dogs, cats and ferrets. These animals must also be chipped to allow positive identification (as of July 2011, a tattoo is no longer sufficient unless it was applied before that date). We know the best pet-friendly restaurants, walks, activities and attractions.
• We are also just a 15 minute walk from our local vet who is very well respected here!

• Check-in is available from 2:00 PM and check-out should be completed by 10:00 AM. If you need to arrive earlier or leave later, please contact us in advance to discuss the options.

The chalets are self-catering accomodations, but there are several restaurants and supermarkets nearby where you can enjoy local specialities and purchase groceries.

• On request, our baker will deliver fresh pastries for breakfast, please make sure you order in advance at reception by 5:00 PM every day before.
• Regionality is important to us, which is why we offer a BIO BOX large (6-8 people) or BIO BOX small (3-4 people) from the Sauschneider organic farm in St. Margarehten. Please pre-order at least 1 day in advance.

Each chalet is fully equipped and offers a kitchen, cozy living room with fireplace, several bedrooms and bathrooms. You can find almost everything in the kitchen.

• Coffee lovers can enjoy a filter coffee machine (please bring your own ground coffee) and we are always happy to help out with a coffee filter! Just ask at reception.
• Some chalets also offer a washing machine.
• A grill is also available (please bring your own charcoal). Bed linen, towels, kitchen towels and toilet towels are included.

• You can book a chalet directly through our website. Enter your travel details and follow the booking instructions. Alternatively, you can also contact us by phone or email to make your booking.

• Each chalet has a carport parking space and a parking space next to the chalet.

• We offer a communal sauna for around 10 people with a relaxation area, showers, toilet and outdoor lounge area.
• Fitness room is open from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM and offers numerous training options.
• We are also happy to cooperate with the Hapimag Resort and the Wellness Hotel Eggerwirt for day spa offers.

• The Lungau offers numerous hiking opportunities with all levels of difficulty, which also start directly from our chalet village. Popular routes lead through the beautiful valleys and up to the peaks of the Alps. Highlights are the Prebersee circular route and the Murtal route.

• There are numerous cycle routes and well-developed cycle paths and challenging mountain bike routes with direct access from the chalets. The Mur cycle path is particularly popular with cyclists.

• The Lungau-Katschberg golf course is just a few minutes away from the chalets and offers an 18-hole golf course with a driving range and a 9-hole compact course in beautiful surroundings.

• Various riding stables offer rides and riding lessons to explore nature.

• The Lungau is a popular place for paragliding fans. The starting point is directly on our local mountain, the Speiereck, from there you can gently plunge into the depths and enjoy the fantastic view over the Alps and the entire Lungau.

There are excellent opportunities for skiing and snowboarding. The region is known for its diverse ski areas and well-groomed slopes, which appeal to both beginners and advanced skiers. Here are some of the most popular ski areas in Lungau:

• Katschberg-Aineck: This ski area offers around 70 km of slopes that are suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers. There are modern lifts and numerous huts for a cozy stop.
• Grosseck-Speiereck: With around 50 km of slopes and an altitude of up to 2,400 meters, this area is ideal for all skill levels. The slopes are varied and offer breathtaking views.
• Fanningberg: A particularly family-friendly ski area with around 30 km of slopes. There are many wide and well-groomed slopes here that are perfect for families and recreational skiers.
• Obertauern: Located near the Lungau, Obertauern is one of the snowiest ski areas in Austria. It offers over 100km of slopes and a lively apres-ski scene. In addition to these large ski areas, there are also numerous smaller lifts and slopes in Lungau that are perfect for a relaxing day of skiing.
