Ice driving in Austria's St Michael im Lungau

It may not be everyone's idea of fun, but here in Lungau we've got some fantastic alternatives to a day on the slopes. Who fancies a spot of ice driving?! This is really good fun and it's actually quite practical as well. How many of you have genuine experience of driving on ice...? Yes, if you skid, you steer into it - we've all been told that - but this is the real deal.

Those taking part have a choice of vehicle - you can practise your handling skills on a road car, or you can test yourselves on a full-blown rally car. It's quite an intricate course with plenty of turns in both directions and it is a LOT OF FUN!!

Prices start at 35 Euros for a passenger lap with a professional driver, although this will probably just make you sick! My suggestion would be the half-day course for 69 Euros per person, or a full day for 99 Euros. Let us know if you fancy it and we'll get it booked up on your behalf.
