It's easy to hire equipment here - from skis, snow bikes and snow shoes to electric bikes and segways!!

Equipment hire in St Michael is reasonably priced (these days, especially if you’re flying with certain airlines, it often works out cheaper to hire than to bring your own!) and we’ll happily put you in touch with some English speakers. There are numerous options for equipment hire, although we have particularly strong links with two local suppliers – one a shop in nearby Mauterndorf, the other an operation run by an expatriate Englishman. If organised in advance, the latter will come to fit your skis or boards and boots at the chalet. Very civilised! In the summer season you can rent bikes, including our own E-Bikes for those who don’t like to pedal uphill!
