It's been another fantastic half-term week here in St Martin, with all ten chalets full... and more. Stephen and Caroline, some of our lovely owners, had to put up with the apartment in our house after a slight miscommunication meant we rented their chalet for the week they wanted to come and use it themselves. Whoops! Fortunately they're fantastic (and the apartment's quite nice), so everything worked out ok.

The other good news is that the snow has been amazing - fresh powder every week since mid-Jan (and plenty of it), with even more coming this week. This really is how Austria is supposed to look.

Apart from odd weeks here and there in March, we're pretty full for the rest of the season, which is great news, and we're getting more and more requests for summer bookings. Along with several hotels and other accommodation providers here in Lungau, we're taking part in a new 'Biosphere Adventures' initiative, which is basically a way of offering our guests ridiculously cheap summer activities and a real taste of Austria. This includes everything from walks and bike rides to extended trips up into the hills to sample some of the local delicacies right where they're made.

We'll keep you posted on summer fun but in the meantime we thought we'd share this video, that was taken recently on the Speiereck chairlift. Luckily it wasn't us taking the video (and nobody came to any harm)!
